Instructors at Hilltop Golf Club are ready and willing to help you with your game. We thrive on your success. It is our fondest wish that you understand golf very well and achieve whatever your personal golfing goals might be.

It is never our wish to force our goals on you or force you to try to swing like some computer generated model. We understand that you have your own unique reasons for coming to golf and for sticking with it. Our lessons are geared with just that in mind; your reasons for playing.

Our lessons are caring and comfortable. We provide you with exactly what you need and want. Nothing less.

Hilltop Golf Club offers many learning options:

Patrick Holland
PGA Professional Since turning professional in 2000, Patrick has developed a strong teaching reputation and following in the area.His dedication to improvement of all his students helped countless golfers reach their full potential and enjoyment of the game.He prides himself on teaching all levels of students, men and women, private and group lessons.Patrick is also a very strong player, taking Medalist Honors at his PGA Player Ability Testing.
 

 


Soo Young Lee
PGA Apprentice
Soo Young has been a touring professional for twelve years in Korea and the US.  Soo Young has been with Hilltop for over two years and has been teaching his students how to hit the ball long and straight.His technique is to focus on the students swing mechanics and tempo.  He teaches all levels of golfers plus is one of our instructors who teaches our beginners and intermediate group sessions in the spring, summer and fall seasons.Soo Young specializes in Korean language students.


LPGA Teaching and Club Professional, LPGA Member since 1994. Dee's patience and deliberate attention to detail helps her students learn golf the right way. An ardent promoter of women's golf, Dee has been teaching golf for 20 years. She coached at Jeb Stuart High School and is currently a professor at American University teaching golf. Dee competed in major VA & GA tournaments before turning Pro. She teaches all students, private and group lessons and also gives a limited number of playing lessons.
 

 

Kathleen Robinson
Golf Professional Kathleen began playing golf just 10 years ago in 1995, while working in the Central African Republic. Just 2 years later, she qualified for her first National Tournament, the 1997 USGA Public Links Championship. Kathleen turned professional in 1999, and chose to develop her skills while playing on the Future Golf Tour, the official developmental tour of the LPGA.In 2001, she qualified for the US Women's Open at Pine Needles. Kathleen continues to play professionally on the Canadian Women's Tour, The Cactus Tour and in various State Open Championships. Last year, Kathleen won the 2006 Frontier Tennessee Women's Open.

 She brings an integrated approach to teaching golf,  focusing on solid fundamentals and fitness while drawing on her playing experience to help her students reach their golf potential. Kathleen is a Certified Club Fitting Specialist with Mizuno USA.
 

 

 

Larmar Williams
Golf Professional
USGTF Class III
Lamar is certified by the United States Golf Teachers Federation and was a participant at the PGA Teaching and Coaching Summits in New Orleans in 1996, 1998, and 2000. His skills have improved from time spent in firsthand observation of well known teachers such as Hank Haney, David Leadbetter, Jim Flick, Jimmy Ballard, Rick Smith, Patty Berg, Butch Harmon and many other teachers of the game. In 1998, he participated in The Players School in Pinehurst, NC where Rick Martino, current Director of Instruction for the PGA of America, taught. He has worked with golfers of all abilities from beginners to intermediates, to advanced and professional players. He has experience working with men, women, seniors, and juniors individually and in groups. Lamar believes in a conceptual approach to improving your golf skills: the better you understand the elements of the swing and the game, the better you can perform.

   

Andy Viglucci
PGA Professional
Andy moved to the DC area upon the retirement of his father from the military in 1986. With local junior golf being his influential introduction to the sport, Andy honed his skills and turned professional in 1992. He was employed at Fort Belvoir Golf Facility and served most of his PGA Apprenticeship there. Since completion of his Apprenticeship he has been employed at Brick Landing Plantation, N.C., Southview Golf Course, MD., and Mount Vernon Country Club in Virginia. In 2001, Andy was hired as the Head Golf Professional at Mid-Atlantic Golf Center in Virginia, where he successfully expanded customer service options, created a nationally recognized club-fitting program, and continued to emphasize junior golf development. Andy became Director of Instruction for Capital City Golf School in 2006 and now brings his professionalism and experience to Hilltop Golf Club. Andy has been and remains an active tournament player and is a 2-time winner in the MAPGA Tournament Program.
